For a quarter of a century, CCA has hosted the Chairman's Charity Golf Classic to generate funds for charitable organizations that serve the Middle Tennessee community. The event benefits dozens of nonprofits whose work directly reflects CCA's giving mission: To provide assistance and resources to former offenders, victims of crime and underserved youth.

The 2016 event, held on September 22 in Nashville, raised $473,000 for 27 charities – the most raised since the tournament began.

"For 25 years, the CCA Chairman's Charity Golf Classic has existed to make a difference in Middle Tennessee," said Tony Grande, CCA Charitable Foundation Chairman. "The well-being of our community and its residents is paramount, and we are thankful for the support of those who have joined us over the years to ensure that these organizations continue their important work."

The 2016 charitable recipients are: Against the Grain, Inc.; Aphesis House, Inc.; Big Brothers Big Sisters of Middle Tennessee; CASA, Inc.; Dismas, Inc.; Family and Children's Service; Family Foundation Fund; Fannie Battle Day Home for Children, Inc.; Good Neighbor Foundation; HUGGS for Inspirational Men and Women; Men of Valor; Mending Hearts, Inc.; Miriam's Promise; Monroe Harding, Inc.; Morning Star Sanctuary; Nashville Children's Alliance; Project Return, Inc.; Rejoice Ministries; Renewal House; Salama Urban Ministries, Inc.; Sexual Assault Center; Tennessee Coalition to End Domestic and Sexual Violence; The Family Center; The Help Center; The Next Door; You Have the Power, Inc.

"These recipients reflect CCA's longstanding giving mission to invest in organizations that provide guidance, educational opportunities, resources and development for former offenders, victims of crime and abuse, and underserved youth," said Grande. "We are proud of their work over the past 25 years and look forward to a bright future."
