Facility Leader: Janice Killian, Administrator

Janice Killian, Administrator Janice Killian was named facility administrator at T. Don Hutto Residential Center in 2015. Killian joined CCA in 2010 as facility administrator at Hutto and later held the same role at South Texas Family Residential Center. Prior to joining CCA, Killian spent 30 years with the Bureau of Prisons, where she retired as a senior executive service member. Her tenure includes more than 10 years as warden at the Federal Correctional Institution, the United States Penitentiary, Federal Correctional Complex and Federal Prison Camp. Killian has an extensive history of working with female offenders, including a tour of duty at the Kennedy Youth Center in West Virginia. She is an active Lions Club member and a former Chamber of Commerce ambassador in Taylor, Texas. Killian is a member of the American Correctional Association, the North American Association of Wardens and Superintendents, and many other community groups. She received the Director's Award for Outstanding Customer Service for her work with the Pentagon following the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks.
